It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Professor Rampal has a proven track record of developing world-class, award-winning patient optimisation services. She founded and leads the Kent and Medway Prehab™ programme, a pan-county multi organisation collaborative helping cancer patients to get fitter through targeted physical and psychological support. It is supported by Public Health and Cancer Alliance. This programme is featured as a case study in the NHS-X digital playbook (2022).
In her current role as the Lead for Perioperative Prehab Unit at Princess Royal University Hospital (part of Kings College NHS Foundation Trust)- she is developing and leads Prehab interventions across surgical groups along with projects with themes of equity of access to care.
She is passionate about the potential of digital tools in changing the healthcare landscape and is a frequent speaker at events discussing innovation in healthcare. She has completed the Leadership in Population Health module at the King’s Fund London and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich.
