It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. With a unique 15 year background in recruitment, sales and marketing. Victoria’s current focus is leading the Merseyside Career and Engagement Hub, hosted at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Working extensively with a variety of businesses and stakeholders. For example, NHS, Local Authority, DWP, Charities, Universities, Colleges and the Armed Forces across Cheshire and Merseyside. Victoria’s systems ensure that the NHS workforce represents its local communities and that local networks are fully utilised.
Therefore, having identified some of the key challenges that underrepresented talent pools face when applying for roles in the NHS. Victoria has developed and introduced innovative pre-employment programmes across the region, to diversify the workforce. This is to provide an alternative approach to the traditional recruitment pathway.
