Course Overview
Mental health and wellbeing are fundamental to a productive and sustainable workforce, especially within today’s dynamic and often unpredictable work environments. As organisations face the challenges of technological change, hybrid working models, and shifting societal expectations, promoting mental health has become both a strategic necessity and a moral imperative.
Employers are increasingly responsible for fostering environments that support not just physical safety but also psychological resilience. The integration of mental health and wellbeing into organisational strategy enhances employee engagement, reduces turnover, and drives performance.
Leaders must address systemic stressors, create a culture of psychological safety, and implement evidence-based practices to support workforce wellbeing.
This course is designed to support postgraduate-level learners in critically examining mental health and wellbeing in professional contexts. It synthesises global frameworks, UK legislation, NHS priorities, theoretical models, and practical applications, empowering leaders to design and implement sustainable and effective wellbeing strategies.
