Course Overview:
This programme is tailored for current and aspiring senior leaders in the healthcare sector. Our design and delivery team comprises leadership development professionals with extensive experience in both private and NHS healthcare settings.
Participants will have the opportunity to deeply explore the role of a leader in enabling their teams to navigate challenges and seize opportunities within the sector. The programme covers both mainstream and sector-specific leadership and organisational models, frameworks, case studies, and research. To enhance individual development, a person-centred coaching approach is integrated throughout the course.
The aim of this unit is to equip leaders with an in-depth understanding of strategic leadership within an organisational context. Leaders will explore the complexities of the role and the theoretical perspectives, approaches, behaviours, and skills which can enhance their professional practice.
The unit focuses on the leader’s ability to respond creatively to complex organisational challenges and understand how to set and deliver sustainable strategic goals.

Accreditation:
This qualification is mapped to a CMI accredited Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice. You must complete the two assignments below to receive the CMI Level 7 Qualification (Masters Level 7)

To pass this unit learners will identify and undertake a strategic management project of their own choosing. Leaders will develop a business case, propose a research design to inform the project’s direction and recommend project management methods and tools to structure the delivery of the project. Leaders will report on project outcomes and reflect on the skills and behaviours which ultimately influence the success of the strategic management project. |
