Our mission is to advance mortuary sciences and contribute to the understanding of mortality through rigorous scientific investigation. Our team of highly skilled pathologists and anatomical pathology technicians, radiograpgers , radiologists conduct thorough post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death, identify injuries, and uncover relevant medical conditions.
We specialise in histopathology and forensic pathology. Our experts collaborate with law enforcement agencies, courts, toxicology and histology labs and other stakeholders to provide accurate and reliable findings.
The East London Forensic Centre stays at the forefront of improving postmortem examination procedures. We employ advanced techniques such as minimally invasive post-mortem imaging (PMCT) to enhance accuracy and reduce the need for traditional autopsies we’re exploring the cutting edge of available technology like AI, Machine Learning , Augmented Reality and Robotics to enhance and lead in this space.
