It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.
Medlink
Around two years ago we developed a system for our patients to have chronic diseases reviewed remotely online. This was partially due to a lack of available online solutions to deal with routine work. It turned out to be very popular with our patients, which included other GPs locally. Next thing we founded MedLink and it was used across Oxfordshire.
Since COVID, practices are looking for new ways of working, particularly around protecting staff and patients. There is growing concern over the routine work and chronic disease management falling behind. Our practices have found that it has enabled them to reach out to their patients, continue chronic disease management and gain control over the workload. MedLink is now established across the UK; with 93% or patients recommending it to their family and friends.
We are looking to explore the potential for applying MedLink in secondary care and other healthcare sectors.
