​Cairn Technology carries out workplace exposure monitoring for a wide range of harmful chemicals. This includes monitoring staff exposures of:

• N2O and/or the Anaesthetic Agents in Theatres, Anaesthetic Rooms, Recovery Areas and Anaesthetic Workshops,
• Peracetic acid and acetic acid in Endoscope Decontamination Areas and
• Inhalable and respirable dust in plaster rooms and estates workshops.

In 2018, Cairn Technology partnered up with air purification specialist, Blueair, to further improve the service we offer our customers. The reason for this was simple: ensure our customers have access to the No. 1 air purifier on the market. Blueair’s HealthProtect air purifier range was designed specifically with the medical sector at its forefront and has won numerous awards.

The Cairn Technology spill kit range was designed to be specifically used within the hospital setting and has been adopted by hospitals across the UK to assist with chemical and cytotoxic drug spillages. Alongside these specialist kits, Cairn Technology offers hospital-specific Chemical Spill Kit training courses which are delivered in the workplace by Cairn Technology’s team of consultants.
