It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.
Give Blood
Come along to register to become a blood donor at our stand, we offer an informative marketing initiative where members of the public can be introduced to the blood donation process. Potential blood donors will have the opportunity to ask general questions regarding blood donation as well as inquire about the eligibility criteria of blood donors. Well trained members of the NHSBT staff can answer all customer enquiries and explain the process of becoming a donor. The staff members will be able to register potential donors using iPads and book appointments for them.
We need:
Nearly 400 new donors a day to meet demand, around 135,000 new donors a year to replace those who can no longer donate. 40,000 more black donors to meet growing demand for better matched blood. 30,000 new blood donors with priority blood types such as O negative every year and more young people to start giving blood so we can make sure we have enough blood in the future.
