The XST Group

The XST Group is a vendor neutral digital and EPR delivery consultancy working with Health Boards and Trusts across the UK. Since 2022 we have been an NHS England and DSS Frontline Digitisation assurance partner, carrying out independent EPR reviews at national scale and giving boards an evidence base they can trust about where a programme really is.

In systems with a strong national layer and a consolidated estate, the hard part is not choosing a system. It is the local delivery load that a national architecture concentrates rather than removes. Someone still has to inventory the legacy estate, decide what is clinically and legally required to retain, build the archiving case, run the trial loads, reconcile migrated numbers against what was submitted last year, and get clinical teams using the thing once it is live.

Those four workstreams are where we specialise. Data migration is the one most likely to move a go live date. Archiving and decommissioning is the one discovered late, with real exposure attached. Reporting and BI continuity produces the first hard board question after go live. Adoption is the difference between a system that is live and a system that is used.

Ten service families, fifty five individually buyable service lines, twenty six deployable roles, and a network of more than five hundred associates that lets us mobilise at pace and flex a team without reopening the engagement. Engagement models run from two days a month of named senior advisory, through fixed scope reviews and embedded specialists, to managed workstreams and full delivery partnership. You do not have to decide the shape on day one.
