Thermidas

TherMidas Oy has developed the world’s first, Medical CE approved, Infrared Thermal (IRT) imaging system to aid in the detection and monitoring of a variety of physiological disorders.

The system can be used in the assessment of diabetic foot risk; circulatory problems (both arterial and venous); neuropathic skin wounds; and inflammatory conditions.

By use of this novel IRT system, it is possible to detect changes in blood circulation and incipient infections allowing early interventions and treatments to avoid amputations.

Early detection allows earlier interventions with better health outcomes for patients at a lower cost to the NHS.
