Amanda Risino

As an Executive member of the Health Innovation Manchester Board and deputy Chief Executive Officer, my role is to build a culture of partnerships and collaboration to create a seamless pathway from discovery, science and industry engagement through to adoption and diffusion at pace and scale.

Prior experience includes board positions across multiple NHS        and Local Authority        organisations

Why are you passionate about transforming healthcare?

I am passionate about transforming Health and Social Care by ensuring that strong relationships are built between research, industry and academic partners to introduce cutting edge innovations which will overall improve the GM population’s health and wellbeing.  This will ensure that Manchester becomes a great city to live, work and grow old in.

I am a strong advocate of patient and public involvement in the co-design of health and social care including preventative care.
