It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Chandraa is the national lead for Core20PLUS5 and the wider healthcare inequalities agenda for those in contact with the criminal justice system working across NHS England and His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). Previously, she was the Head of HQ Diversity and Inclusion in HMPPS leading on age, disability, equality analysis, Public Sector Equality Duties addressing disproportionate outcomes for prisoners, people on probation and staff. Chandraa has extensive public health experience having previously worked at various local public health teams, regionally and nationally at erstwhile Public Health England. Her areas of specialism include public health intelligence, policy and strategy formulation and implementation, commissioning of public services and public health advice and strategic and whole system partnership. She also has international experience having worked at the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC Chandraa has a M.A. in International Relations and Global Development Policy from Syracuse University, USA and a research degree in Population and Demographic Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
