David Gibbs

David Gibbs has 40 years’ experience in NHS Pathology and has led multiple large scale transformation programmes across the Southwest of England, including new Laboratory Buildings, replacement Laboratory Information Systems, Digital Pathology,  Equipment, Automation and Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and service reconfiguration. He also spent a year during the pandemic emergency response as Deputy Head of Pathology for NHS England supporting the pandemic response, links to the Testing Cell and UKHSA and helping to manage the national supply chain during a global event.
