As a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Annelise has developed a special interest in palliative care in prisons, working closely with the health care team at HMP Littlehey. She was one of the contributors to the Dying Well in Custody Charter and is on the Steering Group for the Macmillan Community of Practice for Prisons. She enjoys the challenge of providing palliative care to a diverse community in difficult circumstances. She has taught on palliative care in prisons at a number of Macmillan and BMA events.
