James Matheson is a GP at Hill Top Surgery in Oldham with a passion for addressing causes and consequences of health inequalities. He works with Hope Citadel Healthcare, part of the Deep End Greater Manchester movement and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners’ Health Inequalities Standing Group. Through the Shared Health Foundation and Focused Care community interest companies, he works with healthcare professionals current and future, to promote understanding of the issues of health inequalities and the social determinants of health and supports efforts to address them.
