Dr Nigel Scawn

Initially a pharmacist before qualifying in medicine, Nigel spent most of his career as a consultant in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. In addition to his clinical role, he progressed in medical management, moving up to become the Deputy Medical Director and Lead for Patient Safety at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital before moving to take up the Executive Medical Director post at the Countess of Chester in 2022.
