Dr Paul Miller

Dr Paul Miller is Clinical Informatics Lead at Public Sector Delivery Scotland Technology Service. He has extensive experience in health informatics, with particular interests in clinical safety, data modelling, and clinical terminologies. He leads clinical data modelling using HL7 FHIR and openEHR for Scotland’s National Digital Platform, and serves as Digital Clinical Safety Officer for PSDS technology products.

Paul previously worked for over 30 years as a General Practitioner and has longstanding involvement in primary care informatics. He has held national leadership roles including Chair of the Vision GP system National User Group and Clinical Lead for Scottish Clinical Information Management in Practice, advising NHS Scotland on primary care informatics. He is currently Co-Chair of the openEHR International Clinical Program Board.
