Dr Richard Collier is Health Education England’s Lead for the Centre for Advancing Practice involved in national transformational projects and heading the development of the Centre. Previously he worked on the Musculoskeletal Practitioners in Primary Care project and the MSK Framework development.
He is a practicing Physiotherapist who has had a career in academia where he worked as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and as Director of Programmes for Allied Health, Midwifery and Physiological Sciences Programmes. Prior to entering academia, he worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and undertook various leadership role in the NHS. He has owned and worked in Private Practice and as a Consultant Physiotherapist for a local Trust.
