Dr Rob Lavis

Dr Robert Lavis joined Medica as Group Clinical Director in 2020 before becoming Group Medical Director in June 2021 and Chief Medical Officer in April 2024. He graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1996. Training initially as a surgeon in the West Midlands, obtaining MRCS, he then trained as a radiologist in the Peninsula training scheme gaining his FRCR and a PGCE in Medical Education. He has specialist interests in Head and Neck and Urology imaging. He has held Consultant and Clinical Director posts in both Plymouth Hospitals NHST and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHSFT.
