Dr Samantha Negus

Dr Samantha Negus is a paediatric and acute medicine radiologist working at East Surrey Hospital, part of SASH, where she is the clinical lead for ultrasound, and until recently was the SE Imaging Academy lead for paediatric radiology. Prior to her appointment at East Surrey she worked at St Georges Hospital where she was involved in teaching and training at all levels, and had a particular interest in safeguarding, skeletal dysplasia's and trauma. She balances her clinical work at East Surrey Hospital with managerial responsibilities, as clinical lead for ultrasound, and academic interests, as a section editor for the journal Pediatric Radiology. Outside of medicine she has developed a keen interest in ancient Mesopotamian history, and enjoys painting, walking and sailing.
