Ellen Whiteside

Ellen Whiteside is UK Delivery & Implementation Lead at Cymetryc. Her background is in pathology: she has worked as a Biomedical Scientist, IMPACTT Project Manager and Cellular Pathology Genomic Centre Operations Lead, and most recently as a UKAS Assessment Manager, assessing laboratories against ISO 15189. As an assessor, Ellen saw first-hand how much work goes into validation, and how hard it is to bring evidence together when it's spread across spreadsheets, emails and screenshots. She joined Cymetryc to help laboratories build end-to-end evidence they can stand behind, and to make validation a repeatable process rather than something rebuilt from scratch every time a system changes. Ellen will use a Formula 1 theme to introduce Cymetryc, share testimonials from laboratories already using it, and show how teams can keep getting value long after go-live.
