Dr. Havinga completed his training as a paediatric radiologist at UMC Groningen (The Netherlands). He was a member of the pediatric liver transplantation team.
He now works in a large general hospital in Belgium, AZ Oostende.
He is an enthusiastic educator for ultrasound technicians, residents, and postgraduate trainees. As a former member of the pediatric liver transplantation team, his focus is primarily on Doppler ultrasound, as incorrect application can have far-reaching consequences.
