Janice Steed

Janice Steed has had 45 years’ experience in the health service, initially as a clinician (registered nurse and midwife, with an advanced diploma in midwifery) and then many years as a senior leader and board director before establishing her practice as an independent organisation consultant, facilitator and coach, specialising in leadership development, change and improvement.

Janice obtained her MSc in organisation consulting from Ashridge Business School in 2010, where she also trained as an executive coach and obtained her PGC in coaching and supervision in 2014.

It was during her master’s degree when studying with the leading developers of Appreciative Inquiry (AI), in Cleveland University, Ohio, Janice developed her passion for this approach and now integrates this into her work, using the energy for ‘’building on what works, rather than fixing what doesn’t.’’

Now focussing on coaching and facilitation, Janice works mainly with Primary Care, clinical and scientific experts, where she can empathise, and combine her knowledge and skills, to successfully support positive change, resilience and sustainability.
