Nursing since 1996, trained in North London Hospitals, worked primarily in Medicine/Respiratory wards.  Worked as ward manager until moving to discharge planning in 2012.  Currently working as Team Lead in the Complex Discharge Team at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.   Working within a 1000+ bedded hospital which is also a Regional Major Trauma Unit has some unique challenges.    Working as a team lead support 24 clinical and non clinical staff within the Complex Discharge Team, supporting system partners with more complex/challenging discharges & giving advice and support to wards/MDT regarding discharge pathways and funding streams.
