Karen Bowers

I have over 20 years acute nursing experience I am dedicated to my nursing career and making a difference for patients. Having worked as a directorate matron in acute medicine and elderly care I made the move to Hospital at Home shortly after UHD commenced the Hospital at Home project. I was excited to focus on a different field of nursing away from the acute setting and using transformation work. We commended with 5 initial pathways, looking at establishing clinical pathways, workforce, networking, engaging key stakeholders and working with Dorset partners. This work has grown over the last 3 years to where we are today.
