Kayleigh is the Deputy Head of Healthcare at HMP Featherstone

Kayleigh has a long history working in Forensic psychiatry and inpatient acute care. Kayleigh moved to Health in Justice in 2013 due to her specialist knowledge of substance use and in particular the use of Naloxone and harm reduction.  She has worked in several male establishments, developing new initiatives such as a successful peer support programmes in one of the UK largest prisons and leads with innovative service development at every opportunity. Kayleigh moved to work in the female estate in 2019 and managed the Psychosocial team, during this time she has developed a number of initiatives in HMP Drake Hall and presented at the Health in Justice conference in 2021 for being proactive advocate of a whole prison, holistic approach to managing crises such as opiate overdose and successfully engaging prison staff / residents in the debriefing process after such a crisis. Kayleigh moved to HMP Featherstone December 2022 as Deputy Head of Healthcare and continues to support project management of the Drug Recovery Wing from a healthcare perspective.
