Kelly Smith is a senior cancer nurse leader with over 20 years of NHS experience and a specialist background in prostate cancer care. As Cancer Personalised Care Lead Nurse at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, she has been instrumental in advancing personalised cancer care through the implementation of Personalised Stratified Follow-Up pathways, expansion of Cancer Support Worker services, and the integration of digital innovations that support patient-centred care at scale.

Kelly has a particular interest in Living with and beyond cancer programmes, personalised follow-up, and the use of data and technology to support patients. Her work focuses on translating national policy into practical service improvements that deliver measurable benefits for patients and healthcare teams alike.
