Kirsty Osborn

I trained as a nurse in 1992 and during the initial 15 years of my career worked in Critical Care and Emergency Care across a number of acute hospitals in the East Midlands. After training as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner my passion for autonomous practice led me to move into Primary Care, both in hours and out of hours, where I worked for a number of years as an Advanced Practitioner completing an MSc in Advanced Practice and Non Medical prescribing. For the past 10 years, whilst always maintaining my clinical role, I have undertaken several leadership/management roles culminating in my current role as Deputy Director of Urgent Care at DHU.
