Krista qualified as a Registered Nurse from St George’s Hospital Medical School and Kingston University in 2001. She has 22 years of Emergency Medicine experience and started her nursing career in at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. After spending 6 years overseas, working in Africa, Australia, and Thailand, mixing remote and urban Emergency Medicine, she returned to the UK in 2010. On her return, she worked as a Junior Sister in the Royal United Hospital in Bath, then moving back to London as a Senior Sister and Practice Educator at St Georges Hospital in Tooting. Krista then became the Modern Matron at Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill before making the move into digital health. She is now the Chief Operating Officer for Opto Health.
