Lesley Bainbridge

Before joining Home Group, Lesley worked in the NHS as a nurse and midwife for over 30 years. For most of her career, she has been specialising in the care of older people and her special interest is within those living with complex needs and severe frailty.

Lesley’s role includes supporting colleagues and services to consider the physical health of customers, particularly when this might not be where their needs most lie and also to support the growth and development of older people’s services including intermediate care.

She is passionate about evidence for practice and robustly evaluating new initiatives believing it is much more powerful to tell the customer story using intelligence and data. This is not only so high-quality care and services are delivered but also so that staff and customers are kept safe and have good Home Group experiences.

Lesley is currently working on the roll-out of the physical health training modules developed in line with the LIFE model and is working hard to build relationships with all colleagues she needs to.
