Linda Crofts is the Workforce Transformation lead for Health Education England (South Yorkshire) and is due to take up the post of Regional Faculty Lead for Advanced Practice for NE and Yorkshire in January 2021 with Julie Perrin. Linda is a nurse with an extensive background in professional and practice development, education and workforce development, particularly in relation to new roles. Prior to this post she was the Head of Learning and Development at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and has been involved in the development of Advanced Practice for many years. She helped design one of the first Master’s programmes in Advanced Practice at the University of Essex and continued to develop this work in Sheffield through the Faculty for Advanced Practice in South Yorkshire. In her current role she has overseen the development of the workforce hub which has a major role in the development of routes into the health and social care workforce.
