Lisa Cunnington

Lisa has a dual role within NHSE North East and Yorkshire as Network Manager for Neurosurgery and Regional Lead for Supplies Resilience, Procurement Productivity and Efficiency and has a valuable skill set in leadership and empowering clinical teams in increasing productivity through service improvement and deliver clinical effectiveness and patient-centred care.

Lisa continues to support systems and providers on supplies resilience, as well as driving forward the Regional Procurement Productivity and Efficiency cost improvement programme and contributing to the Net Zero Procurement key deliverables.  Lisa strives to ensure staff have what they need, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost to deliver safe and effective patient care in a sustainable way.

In addition, Lisa and has led on the establishment of a Regional Neurosurgery Operational Delivery Network implementing a structure to increase collaborative working and a governance framework to support the delivery of the transformation programme to optimise patient flow and improve quality and equity of care and outcomes.

Previously, Lisa has worked within the national specialised commissioning team for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge and experience on quality assurance and service re-design.
