Lucy Houston

Lucy Houston is a Solicitor in the Clinical Law team at Capsticks. Lucy has a particular interest and expertise in coronial law.

For several years, she has represented private custody and healthcare providers in a wide range of investigations and inquests following deaths in custody, including unnatural deaths arising from complex circumstances where there were mental health concerns or suggestions of bullying or coercion. She is passionate about her work and is regularly instructed immediately following a death. She supports her clients through the investigations that follow, including advising on risks and lessons learned at an early stage. Lucy has an excellent track record of advising clients on how their processes and procedures can be tightened with a view to preventing future deaths.
