Owen McColgan

Owen is Chief Executive of The Howard Academy Trust which consists of four primary and two secondary academies in Medway, Kent.  Owen has been Chief Executive since September 2019. 

Prior to becoming Chief Executive Owen was Finance & HR Director for The Howard Academy Trust, is a qualified teacher and in additional to his duties as Chief Executive inspects for Ofsted.  Leading the Trust through the pandemic, Owen has been able to use his business and education expertise to support his schools ensuring that they focus in educating and not the various other challenges thrown their way. 

Owen is passionate about School Improvement and ensuing that all children get the best possible education offer from the education system.
