Polly Shepperdson

Polly Shepperdson has spent almost 30 years working across healthcare, digital health and medicines optimisation. Her career has been shaped by bringing together people, organisations and technology around a shared goal: helping people get the best outcomes from their medicines. She has witnessed and contributed to the ongoing evolution of medicines optimisation from a profession-led discipline into a key enabler of integrated care, supporting more joined-up approaches across health and care systems.

With a background in health psychology and experience as a town councillor, Polly also brings a strong interest in the role of communities, relationships and engagement in improving health and wellbeing. She championed the use of data, digital tools and community engagement to support the development of local wellbeing initiatives in the post-COVID period, giving her both system and community perspectives on neighbourhood health.
