Samantha Evans

Sam is the DRW Psychosocial Recovery Worker.

Sam has worked within the Criminal Justice System since 2004, having worked within 3 male Cat C prisons. Sam has also had 5 years working in the community setting with people who have needed support around their addictions. She has been very fortunate to have seen first hand what Recovery can do to a person and their family, Sam is passionate about helping as many people as she can to find this for themselves. Sam has just provided training on Overdose Awareness and Naloxone to all people on the new Drug Recovery Wing in HMP Featherstone which she now has the privilege to be working on full time.  This is an exciting time in the life of our establishment. Recovery is out there!!
