Tom Berry

Tom is the Divisional Director for Medicine and Outpatients at MFT, which includes the MFT-wide Dermatology service. Tom works as part of a multi-disciplinary team who lead a range of inpatient and outpatient services. Tom started his career in the private sector, where he trained as a Chartered Accountant and primarily delivered financial and consultancy projects with NHS clients. Since joining the NHS, Tom has worked across specialist and non-specialist services with provider Trusts in Greater Manchester. Recognising the challenges faced by the NHS, Tom is motivated by innovative approaches that will help patients receive timely and high quality care – recent examples include the roll-out of Skin Analytics DERM AI and a previous pilot implementation of digital remote monitoring for pre-op Cardiac Surgery patients.
