Nathan Nagel started his first business at 17 and now has 25 years’ experience of being an innovator and entrepreneur. He has started over 10 business and some of succeeded, and some have failed. He works in the sectors of healthcare and lifescience. He is currently the CEO of the Fratrem Group Ltd (Medical education), Board Adviser at Quest Prehabilitation, Board Adviser at Digistain Cancer testing, Faculty at Barts X Medicine digital health program and mentor to founders on the CRUK Capital Enterprise Cancer Tech Accelerator. His past executive experience includes CEO at Gamlen Tableting Ltd, MD at Sanyal Bio LLC, CEO of Neuro-Bio Ltd, CEO of Oncology Pharma Ltd, and MD of LifeScience Ventures Ltd.

Chris is a former NHS CEO who worked as a senior consultant specialist with Healthcare UK based at the Department for International Trade (DIT) over the last ten years. He worked NHS and commercial health and care organisations in the UK to take their healthcare export offer to operators, developers, investors, governments and health services in the target markets of India, China, SE Asia, the Middle East and other countries. He is an experienced executive coach and mentor and has a passion for improving health and care worldwide.
Chris worked for 25 years as a CEO and senior leader in the NHS both in a Trust and as a commissioner. Chris also worked in a predecessor of NHS England and NHS Improvement (the NHS Executive) and in 2012 was seconded to the then Department of Health to develop NHS Global (which led to the creation of Healthcare UK).

He was the Chief Operations Officer of the UK military innovation hub jHubMed (2018-2021) He remains an innovation adviser to jHubMed, works with the NHS, Industry and Governments to improve patient care, delivering world leading technology into the hands of the end medical user.Due to his experience in the medical innovation area, Marcus provides mentorship on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneurs programme, and recently reviewed 40 applicants for entry to the 2022 course. He is a Board advisor to a number of MedTech startups across various technology types, is regularly asked to provide expert and bespoke advice/ consultancy and often presents at Med Innovation/ tech conferences. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Marcus was involved in several Government initiatives in response to the challenges facing the United Kingdom. These included the broader use of Telemedicine/ M-Health, development of a novel artificial ventilator, coalescing 3rd party data for symptom tracking and the rapid review of over 300 Covid facing/re-purposed MedTech Innovations at pace.
