LungVision 2027 is an NHS conference focused on improving respiratory services through earlier diagnosis, community-based care, integrated pathways, prevention and treatment optimisation.
Aligned with the NHS 10 Year Health Plan for England, the programme will explore how services can shift care closer to home, strengthen coordination between primary, community and specialist services, and make effective use of digital tools and patient-level data.
Against the backdrop of 873,461 emergency hospital admissions for respiratory disease in England in the financial year ending 2025, the conference will address key challenges including diagnostic access, spirometry, pulmonary rehabilitation, health inequalities and workforce capacity.
The programme will focus on translating national priorities into measurable improvements, examining community diagnostics, virtual care, medicines optimisation, digital monitoring and emerging treatments.
