It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. Really positive event for us and we look forward to working with Convenzis in the future.

Chris has over 30 years NHS experience, starting in Pathology as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer in 1988. Chris is renowned for progressing from a basic grade Biomedical Scientist, through the roles of Senior BMS, Chief BMS, Head BMS through to a Directorate Manager within 5 years. Chris’s final dedicated clinical role was as a Clinical Director in Pathology in the East Midlands before moving to the North West in 2008 as a Divisional Director for Diagnostics. Chris has since delivered in several senior roles in Operations and Strategy, with a track record in delivering major transformation programmes. He was responsible for delivering major changes diagnostics programmes across Greater Manchester and has led on the establishment of the Greater Manchester Imaging and Pathology Networks. He is now Chief Officer and Chair of the GM Imaging and Pathology Networks, GM Senior Responsible Officer for the Community Diagnostic Centre programme, as well as being SRO for several transformation programmes including the procurement and installation of a single instance Diagnostics Digital Enterprise Solution (including Imaging PACS, VNA and Digital Pathology) for all the Trusts in the GM collaborative. Chris has a passion for addressing health inequalities, addressing current and future workforce challenges, and using innovative digital solutions in diagnostics.
