Aldo Rolfo

Aldo Rolfo is a global healthcare executive with over 30 years’ experience working across oncology with a focus on excellence in care and operational improvement.

Having worked across Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom, and United States, Aldo has a unique skillset developed around service development, reimbursement models, clinical development and efficiency, productivity execution, and business development, mergers and acquisitions. 

Aldo is leading the expansion of oncology services on behalf of Icon Group into the UK, which in partnership with Nuffield Health, with the ambition to address the cancer burden through developing radiation oncology facilities across the UK. Icon Group provides essential oncology services in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the UK. Services provided include radiation oncology, medical oncology, specialist pharmacy and high stable drug compounding (including cytotoxic agent and monoclonal antibodies). 

In addition to helping ensure more patients across the UK receive timely access to radiotherapy, Aldo has been instrumental in the design of a new radiation oncology funding model in Australia and is currently leading the implementation program as National Chair of the Radiation Oncology Alliance Coalition, in partnership with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. This new funding model will ensure all Australians continue to access world class care close to home, where utilisation of radiotherapy exceeds 38% and 100% of patients commence care within 28 days of assessment and consent to care.
