Dale is a registered RNLD/RNMH nurse, since 1992 and a Solution Focused Therapist since 2014. He completed further professional development in Person Centred Teams, Risk and Planning in 2000 and a Management Diploma in 2003.
Passionate about supporting a wide range of demographics, Dale reflects on his time supporting adults with learning disabilities. He has worked in a variety of settings including adult safeguarding teams, in-patient health setting and community children and adult commissioning services. Through this diverse experience. Dale has worked with MCA requirements in multiple interfaces, such as MCA assessments, DoLS and CoP/DoL applications.
Dale has delivered training in schools and day services, including the presentation of tailored care plans and training models, adapting training systems for young children and accredited behaviour approaches linked to PBS models, grounded in a training model. Dale has worked with students, providing training to ensure goals are met through placements. Dale has been involved in consultation models reviewing the transition from day centres to a day service model. This process included engaging all service users, families, staff, and external stakeholders to explore alternative models of day care delivery, shifting towards a leisure and work-based model. He supported the development and presentation of a new day service structure.
Dale is the NHS MLCSU Transforming Care Programme (TCP) Operations Manager delivering case management services for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, on behalf of an ICB.
