Following graduating from Nottingham University in 2003, Dan joined the Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service as an Emergency Care Nursing Officer working in Emergency Care across the NHS and on operational tours in the Middle East. He has a keen interest in leadership following 3 years as an Instructor with officer cadets and has since become a Professional Nurse Advocate supporting Empathy workshops within the University of Leicester. His current role sits alongside the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICB Winter Director and Clinical Director herein the UEC Triumvirate. Thus supporting LLR system partners manage winter pressures and future planning including Virtual Wards.
