Dr Afsana Bhuiya

Afsana Bhuiya is a portfolio GP based in Barnet, with extensive experience in system working. She has innovated, developed and supported a range of projects in her NCL Cancer Alliance role and in the NCL ICB. Her areas of interest include quality improvement, health service research, cancer, population health and women's health.

Some of her cancer work includes innovating an e-safety netting system for primary care, developing a cancer care registry for primary care, developing a pathway support guide for any patient referred on a cancer referral pathway plus more. 

In her Barnet clinical lead role she has been leading the integrated neighbourhoods (INs) programme and developed an INs framework and locally overseeing 4 pilot IN sites in Barnet.
