Dr Ahmed Shahrabani is a qualified doctor previously working at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2014 before accepting his first medical post at St. Helier Hospital, London. Growing up in Oman, Ahmed was 1 of 18 individuals selected from around the world to partake in ‘Connecting Cultures’ – a UN culture-bridging programme. It was there where he found his passion for discussion and problem solving which he has carried through in his day-to-day work. Ahmed’s strength in communicating with others and work in a multitude of medical and surgical specialities from the ground level up to have helped him tackle the problems the NHS are facing. His belief in streamlining recruitment and communication are the driving forces behind Locum’s Nest. He has been working full time on Locum’s Nest since August 2016.
