Dr Frances Maclennan is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Central and North West London NHS Trust. She has worked in prisons and forensic services for over 20 years. She is currently the lead for the Male Service Line and works across a number of male prisons, providing leadership and clinical input. She developed and is the lead for the Stabilisation, Progression and Rehabilitation Programme (SPaR Programme) at HMP Woodhill.
She lectures on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and is a specialist member of the parole board. She has a particular interest in trauma and organisational dynamics. She is passionate about creating opportunities for progression, rehabilitation and change in complex and challenging prison environments.
