Dr Karen Kirkham

Karen is Chief Medical Officer with Deloitte UK and a partner in the health strategy team having joined from her role as a GP and Clinical lead for the Dorset Integrated Care System. She was a National Senior Clinical Advisor for Systems Development, Population Health Management and Primary Care Transformation with NHSE, and worked on the development of the Primary Care Networks. A credible clinical leader with significant executive level experience, detailed knowledge of commissioning, transformation, and delivery of healthcare at scale, Karen is a change leader in health - helping shape and deliver services within the new structure of the NHS and always keen to learn from the best around the world, which she does through her global clinical role with Deloitte. Her passion is sustainability and development of new care models through the lens of PHM and a data driven approach and with a strong focus on reducing health inequalities.
