Marcus is a founder member of the RCGP SEG and former Chairman. He was the first BMA GPC Prison representative and he has supported the organisation or presentation of the six Health and Justice summits.
In the last year Marcus had lead the production of the Second edition of Safer Prescribing in Prisons as well as Chairing the Death in Custody Group for NHSE.
‘I work as a Community GP in Nottingham visiting three Secure Hospitals on a regular basis as part of the Beechdale Medical Group looking after 13,600 patients in an area of high social disadvantage. I am an elected LMC director and Clinical Commissioner and recent Health and Wellbeing Board Vice Chairman’.
