Dr Maslah Amin

GP and Population Health Advisor

Dr Maslah Amin is the Associate Clinical Director at NHS England where he leads on population health and sustainability. He is a GP based in London.

Regarding population health, Maslah is focused on transforming the workforce to increase the skill-mix in population health and support front-line services to improve population health and health inequalities. He led the development of the first National Population Health Fellowship for the NHS and is driving changes in established programmes to support them in integrating more population health.

Maslah has held various leadership positions, nationally and locally, and in education and service. Early in his career he worked in hospitals in the Midlands, both as a doctor and a manager, through a specialised management programme for doctors, which led to an award in Leadership Masters by Distinction. He is an alumnus of the National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellowship Scheme. He has a research degree and has presented and published widely.
