Dr Koczan has been a GP in Chingford North East London for over 25 years having succeeded to a single handed practice. The practice now looks after 15,000 patients over two sites. He is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a member of their Health Informatics Group. He is also a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics
He has a long interest in Medical informatics and is the CCIO for Digital Interoperability for NHS England (London Region). He also has a role with the national Primary Care Digital Transformation Team as Digital Clinical Champion for London. He has an interest in Clinical Safety and is a Clinical Advisor to the PRSB (Professional Record Standards Body),
His particular interest is around bringing data together from different care settings to support patient care and quality improvement.
